Drama Characters

Cha Dae Woong(Lee Seung Gi)
the protagonist of the drama, he is a spoiled young man (in his 20s) who lost both of his parents at a very young age and has been with his grandfather and aunt for more than 20 years. He is not interested in going to college; instead, he wants to be an actor. When his grandfather tries to take him to a boarding school, Dae Woong escapes and eventually gets lost. A woman's voice tells him to draw nine tails on a drawing of a fox at a Buddhist temple and accidentally releases it. He meets a girl who informs him that she is the fox he released. He finds out that she is a gumiho (later called Miho) so he ends up trying to keep her happy (mostly by buying her meat) and hide the fact that she is a gumiho from everyone else. Later, she eventually becomes his girlfriend. However, Dae Woong , who started to fall in love with her, doesn't want to call wherever they go a "date". Instead, he calls it a "walk".

Gu Mi Ho (Shin Min Ah)
a legendary nine-tailed fox that has been stuck inside a painting with a drawing of a grandmother for 500 years. Miho is the female protagonist. She dreams of becoming a human and has always wanted to do things humans do. However, when people heard rumors that gumihos eat human livers, no one would go near her. When she meets Dae Woong, she starts to feel like she is a human but sometimes does things that humans can not do when no one, except for Dae Woong, is around (she was once seen by two children at a park). She becomes Dae Woong's girlfriend and tries to make him do things like how a girl on a date usually do, though Dae Woong doesn't want her to because he feels awkward about it since he fell in love with her.

Park Dong Joo (Noh Min Woo)
a veterinarian at an animal hospital, he is not a human either, though his true identity is unknown and he knows a lot of things about human life. Doong Joo is shown to be the main antagonist. He tends to speak in a calm way to Miho, but doesn't seem to be that way to other people. He tells Miho that she will become human if she drinks his blood and if Dae Woong will keep her marble inside his stomach for 100 days. However, he doesn't tell her that Dae Woong will die if he gives the marble back to her.

Eun Hye In (Park Su Jin)
the female antagonist of the drama, she is a superior of Dae Woong, she and Dae Woong had strong feelings for each other for a long time. However, when Dae Woong found out that she was using him, he started to lose interest in her and ignore her. Hye In doesn't like Miho, and she becomes infuriated and jealous when Miho becomes Dae Woong's girlfriend. She also tried to get Dae Woong to ask her out, but because Dae Woong can't date other people because of Miho's marble, she got rejected a few times. Hye In thinks that she knows Miho's difference so she says bad things about Miho to Dae Woong's aunt, but was overheard by Miho and was confronted.

Ban Doo Hong (Sung Dong Il)
the director of Dae Woong's action school. He is so found of Dae Woong's skills and gives him special treats. When he sees Miho jump high and run fast, he looks for her, and whenever he finds her, she runs away because she didn't see him when she jumped high. He is eventually seen by Miho at a different day, but he doesn't see her. He also has feelings for Dae Woong's aunt, Cha Min Sook.

Ban Seon Nyun (Hyo Min)
Doo Hong's daughter and Dae Woong's best friend. She has feelings for Dae Woong but doesn't seem jealous that Miho is his girlfriend, though she seems heartbroken.

Cha Peung(Byun Hee Bong)
He wants Dae Woong to make right choices but accepts his dream after seeing that he changed when he met Miho.

Cha Min Sook (Yoon Yoo Seon)
Dae Woong's aunt. She has feelings for Ban Doo Hong but has never been able to tell him and often ends up getting humiliated.

Kim Byung Soo (Kim Ho Chang)
Dae Woong's another best friend. He is supportive for Dae Woong. He has feelings for Seon Nyuh but Seon Nyuh doesn't seem to know.
